Daria has toured extensively in the UK and Europe, sharing stories and songs that are deeply personal but feel universal and timeless. Born in Russia but based in the UK for the last 15 years, she fearlessly explores her heritage and turbulent family history in Ingushetia (North Caucasus) with songs that “aren’t just sung, but lived”.
All My Trials is a collaboration led by Joe Hillman (vocals & guitar) and Michael Matthews (double bass).
Their 14-year musical relationship has spawned indie-folk songs and gentle ballads telling tall tales about rivers and seas, horses and butterflies, smuggling and poorly-designed civil engineering projects…
They have spent 2023 writing and recording new material, introducing themselves to the folk clubs of Hertfordshire, and ending the year with a headline show at Four Rivers in Hertford. They start 2024 newly signed to Tonotopic Records.
